An important business division of the IBAS Group is Rope Access. Our management team has over 43 years combined experience in the difficult access industry, with a history in rope access engineering works since the 1990's. This background in engineering, and varied site experience accumulated on contracts around the continent, enable us to select the safest and most efficient access solution for your needs.

As well as providing tailor made solutions for your own in- house requirement, we are able to offer practical advice and solutions for clients with unusual access problems, particularly on unique or unusual structures.

We install and service permanent access systems, from gantries and platforms to safety eye bolts, and can provide and install temporary systems such as netting and lifelines for on-going construction works.

The IBAS Group has the capability and experience to carry out installation and maintenance services in a wide range of difficult to access environments, either working alongside our clients workforce to provide safe and cost effective access to one part of a larger project, or to provide a complete package of staff and equipment to manage an entire installation or repair project in-house.

Rope access is a cost and time-efficient method of accessing structures for inspection, maintenance, installation, repairs and surveying using advanced roping techniques over standard methods. This allows technicians to perform various tasks, including inspections, fabrication, fabric maintenance and inspection such as NDT, which previously required scaffolding and disruption of others at ground level.
